Ascensions

1. intx13 (hum-fem-neu-val): First ascension! Made number #325 on the top 2000 list. Took me over 120000 turns. Was also my first time ever getting past the quest. Beyond those four things, not too notable.
2. intx13 (hum-mal-law-sam): Second ascension! Also my first game playing as a samurai. This one went a lot smoother. Favorite quote: You kick the invisible Vlad the Impaler.--More--

3. intx13 (hum-fem-neu-cav): Finally ascended a caveman (or in this case, cavewoman). Pretty standard game, no huge hiccups. The altar was near Famine, the first one I tried on Astral, which was lucky. Some interesting notes:
   1. I received Magicbane as a gift after my second sacrifice. Being able to engrave Elbereth in one turn in the early game was extremely useful.
   2. I fought and killed Vlad using nothing more than a carrot. Though apparently with Gauntlets of power a carrot does 9 points of damage per hit!
   3. I ascended with a pet woodchuck... that's what happens when you're standing on the altar with a wand of wishing!
4. intx13 (hum-mal-neu-cav): Ascended a second caveman in what was supposed to be a "warm-up" game for a summer full of Nethacking, but looks like might be my only game for a while due to work and whatnot.
