In any case, it's literally not an "issue" fix, is the thing - the standard thing I do when I move articles (such as the demon one, which I've disambiguated) is follow through and point previous links to that page to the proper article on the subject. It's something I've more or less always done to an extent, and the most I'm doing in the case of old forum posts is preserving the meaning of those sentences. --Umbire the Phantom (talk) 03:53, 14 February 2024 (UTC)

: Oh, I haven't paid attention to the demon page change.  I guess this makes sense then?  An unusual zeal, but nothing wrong with it.  Sorry!  In a perfect world, minor changes to forum topics wouldn't trigger the topic list update and nobody would even notice, but since I got confused I decided to leave a message there so that nobody else would.  Either way, it's probably okay to have meta discussions in the forum namespace, too.  Tomsod (talk) 05:17, 14 February 2024 (UTC)

Welcome!

Welcome!

Hi, Tomsod! Welcome, and thanks for joining NetHackWiki!

 • The How to help and Style guide pages are excellent starting points.
 • Special:Recentchanges is a great first stop, because you can see what other people are editing right this minute, and where you can help.
 • Questions? Need help? You can ask at the Community Portal, the forum, or on the discussion page associated with each article! Just remember to sign those posts with four tildes: ~~~~. That will expand to create a signature.

You can put NAO player account on your user page to link to your NAO player account. Capitalization matters.

We are really happy to have you here, and look forward to working with you!

This is an automated greeting.

Potion of sickness discussion

Hey thanks for answering my questions on potion BUC dude, you rock. Your English is impeccable btw despite your warning that it's your second language. D4 wryyyy (talk) 15:32, 28 January 2022 (UTC)

Oh, I haven't paid attention to the demon page change.
It's fine. I try to be thorough when dealing with page moves, and it's even more of a responsibility now that I'm admin (dtype nudged me into it). --Umbire the Phantom (talk) 05:23, 14 February 2024 (UTC)
