Ward against flame is a technique in SLASH'EM and SlashTHEM. Monks gain this technique at level 11, as opposed to the intrinsic fire resistance given in vanilla NetHack.
Description
If you use the technique without intrinsic fire resistance, you gain temporary fire resistance for an amount of turns equal to the technique's level plus a random number from 50-149; if you have intrinsic fire resistance, the technique has no effect. It can be used again after 500-1499 turns.
