Hey, I've noticed my pet mind flayers have been uniffective on certain monsters (zombies, mimics) are immune to brainlessness. Can we start posting this on monsters? Or at least make a list of them? 142.227.150.1 16:39, March 12, 2010 (UTC) (forgot to log in, Elven2006 16:39, March 12, 2010 (UTC))

The list of monsters that you get that message on should be exactly the same monsters that do not show up on telepathy, plus those without heads. Furthermore, since monsters have no INT attribute and thus cannot actually die from brainlessness like the player can, it's really not that big of a deal. I believe brainlessness is emulated by causing instadeath if the victim's HP drops below 10 or something, and maybe mindless monsters are completely immune to the 1d2 damage. I don't know the specifics of brainlessness on NPCs, but it's certainly not nearly as problematic as brainlessness on the PC. -- Qazmlpok 17:35, March 12, 2010 (UTC)

No head = No amneshia?

Does being a monster lacking a head protect you from amneshia as well?
