I removed "ice-based" because it seems like ice-based monsters tend not to be infravisible:

red dragon is infravisible, white dragon is not; hell hound is infravisible, winter wolf is not; red mold is infravisible, brown mold is not

Some ice-based monsters are infravisible (frost giants), but probably because they are warm-blooded (?)
