Veggy is a type of material that appears in NetHack, used by some comestibles.

Eating any veggy item does not violate the vegetarian conduct, though some veggy foods may violate the vegan conduct. There is an explicit check for pancakes, fortune cookies, cream pies, candy bars, and lumps of royal jelly[1][2] - all of these are veggy objects, but contain animal byproducts.
