锁环甲（ring mail）是NetHack中的一种铠甲类防具。它由铁制成。

生成

骑士在游戏开始时会获得一件+1锁环甲。人类野蛮人在游戏开始时会获得一件+0锁环甲。

军衔较低的雇佣兵类怪物生成时，根据其目标AC，可能会获得锁环甲。

在Rogue关卡的假骨档中可能会出现一件锁环甲。

描述

锁环甲的基础AC加成为3，并能提供MC1。

策略

一般来说，嵌皮甲是比锁环甲更优的选择：它更便宜，重量更低，而且不会阻碍施法。

历史

锁环甲最初于Jay Fenlason's Hack的衍生作品Hack 1.21和Hack for PDP-11中出现。在NetHack 3.4.3及更早版本中，锁环甲没有MC加成。

起源

锁环甲在《龙与地下城》（D&D）及由其启发的作品中，是一种标准护甲类型。不过我们并不清楚它在历史上是否曾以《D&D》描述的形式存在。人们尚未找到“锁环甲”一词在19世纪之前的使用记录。锁环甲被描述为一种由金属环组成的护甲，但金属环不像现实中的锁子甲那样相互连接，而是被缝到皮革或布制成的基底上。从这一方面来看，它似乎像是一种更复杂的嵌皮甲。

目前我们尚未找到锁环甲的实物，仅能通过中古艺术作品及历史记录对其外观作一些推测。

Variants

In variants based on NetHack 3.4.3 and earlier versions, worn ring mail may not grant any MC.

dNetHack

In dNetHack, ring mail grants 1 AC and 2 DR when worn, and its weight is reduced to 125 aum (half of its weight in vanilla NetHack).

Incantifier Barbarians have their ring mail replaced with a robe.

EvilHack

In EvilHack, giant Barbarians receive a simple helmet in place of ring mail. Aligned champions have a ²⁄₃ chance of generating with ring mail.

Ring mail can be created at a forge by combining a large shield and a helmet. Ring mail can be used to forge a few items:

• Ring mail can be combined with scale mail to create banded mail.
• Two sets of ring mail can be combined to create chain mail.
• Ring mail can be combined with an orcish shield to create orcish chain mail.
• Ring mail can be combined with a helmet to create scale mail.

SlashTHEM

In SlashTHEM, incantifier Barbarians also have their ring mail replaced with a robe.
