A rodent of unusual size, r, is a type of monster that appears as part of the Convict patch incorporated in DynaHack and older versions of UnNetHack. The rodent of unusual size, r, also appears in SpliceHack and SlashTHEM. A rodent of unusual size is a medium-sized carnivorous animal that is among the strongest non-unique rodents, and can be seen via infravision. Like other rats, Convicts can pacify or tame them by chatting to one.
