• m represents a mimic (when it is not disguised as something else):
  • small mimic
  • large mimic
  • giant mimic

• M represents a mummy:
  • kobold mummy
  • gnome mummy
  • orc mummy
  • dwarf mummy
  • elf mummy
  • human mummy
  • ettin mummy
  • giant mummy

• Press [m], then press a direction [yuhjklbn] to move your character without doing any other actions such as attacking a monster or displacing a pet. Even if autopickup is on, using [m] causes you not to pick up anything. It will also stop you accidentally hitting invisible or remembered monsters.
