The shoggoth's unique suction attack has a variety of effects:

• 5%: If your HP is at less than 10%, you have a head, and you aren't wearing a helmet, your head is sucked off, killing you.
• 100%: You are slowed by 6 movement points per hit
• 10%: Both your legs are badly injured
• 15%: Your weapon is sucked out of your grasp. High strength can help prevent this.
• 10%: Your boots are sucked off. Buckled boots can't be sucked off.
• 15%: Your gloves are sucked off. This does not occur if you are holding a weapon, and high strength can block this completely.
• 7%: Your shield is sucked off. High strength can help prevent this.
• 25%: Your helmet is sucked off.

These effects are rolled independenlty, so more than one can occur with each hit. The effects occur in the order listed. If the shoggoth beheads you, no further effects will be applied that turn.
