Secure Shell (SSH) is program allows a machine to login and execute commands on a remote machine securely. Communication is encrypted, allowing the machines to communicate over insecure networks. The most common implementation is OpenSSH which is available in many operating systems such Windows, MacOS, Linux and BSD.
