is there a way to contact the devs of nethack mobile? there are a few deficiencies that aren't too onerous to address.
is the project ongoing, even? --195.50.80.61 12:03, September 28, 2010 (UTC)
It might help if you were a little more specific about what you mean by "mobile". The android version is by Fredrik Farnstrom (farnstrom@gmail.com), but he's probably not the guy to contact for other values of "mobile". You might also see if there is some sort of menu selection that will show the "about" info, which will hopefully include the person to contact.

- thanks for the reply. i thought that "nethack mobile" was the name for "nethack for windows mobile", and that was what it's called on the download page. forgive the confusion. my major problems are with missing command keys: i'd guess these are missing in all the number pad only versions. i hope they're not. --195.50.80.61 12:10, 3 February 2011 (UTC)
- (C)all can substitute for (;)farlook. But yes, I didn't enjoy playing NetHack for Windows Mobile, either. --Tjr 16:48, 3 February 2011 (UTC)
- it's not that it's unenjoyable, just frustrating. stuff that doesn't break can be thrown (since it's been changed so that throw only ever throws one of a thing), but things that break can't, so stacks of potions have to stay stacks, if you want to curse some !gl and bless others you can't. there's also the #name-y "bug" as complained about (by me, yes) on the #name talk page:
- using nh mobile on an excalibur. individual naming does not seem to work. pile of rocks. throw rocks into two piles. (n for number doesn't work either.) pick up first pile #name-y it to pile1. drop pile. pick up the other pile and #name-y it to pile2. pick up the first pile, you've not got two piles named pile1 and pile2, just one pile named pile2. is this the expected behaviour? is it a compile directive? just seems broken to me.
- i've go to the wizard (kraken got me) so i can't really complain. be nice if things got fixed, though. --109.157.17.188 12:50, 5 February 2011 (UTC)
