Bisection

Bisection is a form of instadeath. Any target that isn't classified as a large monster has a 5% chance of being bisected when hit with the Tsurugi of Muramasa (the Samurai quest artifact). This instantly kills small monsters or any sized monsters that are engulfing you. It results in double damage to large monsters.
