A cloak of protection provides 3 points of AC (higher than other cloaks) and MC3, but no other bonuses or special abilities. It is an option for those who decide to go for Gray dragon scale mail, because it the most useful of the three sources of MC3, as Elven cloak gives less AC andCloak of magic resistance is effectively rendered useless by the GDSM.
