Since I was only on level two or so, I decided to experiment, and took a swing at it. It turned out that, yes, even though it was asleep, the eye still paralyzed me. So fine, I stand there and wait to die. A nymph shows up, steals my wand of magic missile, and zaps it at me. The beam misses, goes past me, hits a wall, reflects back, misses me ''again'', and hits the nymph, killing her instantly. I then unfroze and went on playing. | ||

-18 AC, level 14 human Priest. Just finished the quest and went all the way up to level 5 for the aligned altar. Blessed 11 potions of water, bless 4 scrolls of enchant armour, started removing gear to pump up my Hawaian shirt. Made a mistake and kept the +5 SDSM on. Read the scroll. Lost the armor.
