Yeah. I was referring to the ASCII style interface, not the tiles. What I also like about it is the mouseable function that shortpaths you to places. Any further clues towards that are appreciated. Thanks and compliments for Slash'em extended. I feel honored talking to the person behind it.  76.8.86.194 19:24, 24 February 2016 (UTC)

:You're welcome :) At least for me, clicking on something already acts like saying "try to move the @ to that spot" (I'm playing the Windows version), but that might not be the case for other operating systems... --Bluescreenofdeath (talk) 06:40, 25 February 2016 (UTC)

:Do you mean the X11 or GTK+ interfaces?  I had been working on getting those to work at some point, but never got around to finishing (all the relevant code is there, but there are compile errors). <span style="background:green;border-radius:15px 0 0 8px">Elronnd</span><span style="background: orange;border-radius:0 8px 15px 0">(talk)</span> 02:21, 9 March 2016 (UTC)

Hi. Anyone got a clue how to run Slash 'em extended in the same native graphical interface as Vanilla Nethack (or the old Slash'em ) uses? 76.8.86.194 15:17, 23 February 2016 (UTC)

It would probably require someone to make tiles for 9000+ monsters and 2000+ objects and object appearances, which is very unlikely to happen... Theoretically there might be a way to have an "ASCII graphical interface" (at least I recall seeing one once) but unfortunately I don't know how to activate it. Might be a specific option line in the rcfile? --Bluescreenofdeath (talk) 06:56, 24 February 2016 (UTC)

You're welcome :) At least for me, clicking on something already acts like saying "try to move the @ to that spot" (I'm playing the Windows version), but that might not be the case for other operating systems... --Bluescreenofdeath (talk) 06:40, 25 February 2016 (UTC)
