Hi, well lets see if this forum is any better than the spamflooded newsgroup.

I'm playing on NAO. My elf-wizard just prayed at a co-aligned alter. He got a spellbook. But it wasn't finger of death it was cause fear. This character is has not been crowned.

Now I thought the spellbook gift only occurred after crowning (and required the same high luck/alignment/etc). Have I just misunderstood how it works? Regardless what happened here?

Thanks

Edit: How do I fix the subject line? It should say "Question about #pray and crowning"— Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.206.130.30 (talkcontribs)

The praying spoiler leads me to believe that your deity was very happy with you and granted you favor #7. 4.245.224.124 02:55, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
