After playing Hack in college 25 years ago, I started playing Nethack on the Chrome Browser in January. Totally spoiled by this wiki, I ascended today with Samer, The level 27 Valkarie.

Samer found a WoW on lvl 2. First wish was for a Ring of Levitation while stuck on an island during the quest. Then, of course, the first giant killed dropped a spare.

Overall, the rest of the game was very kind allowing Samer to ascend with 2 WoWs (neither completely used) and 2 Amulets of Life Saving (obviously, never used).

Samer chatted with the priest before ascending and handed over all 65K in zm. Proper respects to the Wiki gods.
