Forum:Why does copper corrode?

Since copper(Cu) has lower reactivity than hydrogen(H), copper should not corrode by acid.
Does this mean acid in NetHack is oxidizing acid?
Bronze and brass will still corrode by acid, because they also contain tin(Sn) and zinc(Zn), respectively, which have higher reactivity than hydrogen. --NDos (talk) 22:46, 12 August 2016 (UTC)
