L is the nickname of a person who posts on RGRN and is a prolific patch-writer. He is not to be confused with the world's greatest detective. Some of his patches include:
- Wearing a bag on your head
- Consistent gaze attacks
- Randomly-generated towns
- Coloured walls/floors
- More diverse monster spells
