Long worm

Long worm, w~~~~, is a monster that occupies several squares. Only its head is dangerous, but if you hit it in the middle, you may cut it in half, creating two shorter long worms instead of one. Hitting the middle section may also just cut a piece off the worm or kill it. Unlike the purple worm, the long worm does not engulf its victims.

The earthly remains of this monster include, in addition to an edible corpse, a worm tooth, which can be enchanted into a weapon called crysknife.
