A mumak is, in mythology, an enormous elephant, slow but ferocious. While not the most dangerous of the creatures in its class, the mumak can do large amounts of damage, and can withstand significant blows before succumbing. The player is not likely to encounter a mumak too early in the game, and should be sufficiently equipped to do battle with the beast by the time the situation arises.
The plural of mumak is mumakil.
