Paralyze is a clerical monster spell that can be used by monsters of level 5 or higher. If you have magic resistance or free action, it paralyses you for one turn. Otherwise, it paralyses you for monster's level + 4 turns. If you have half spell damage, this duration is reduced by half.[1]
Messages
- You are frozen in place!
- You were affected by the Paralyze spell.
- You stiffen briefly.
- You were affected by the Paralyze spell, but you have magic resistance or free action, so you will be paralyzed for only one turn.
