Wearing a ring of teleportation gives you teleportitis. If the ring is cursed, and you are wearing an uncursed ring of teleportation control you will be asked where you would like to teleport, but will recieve the message "Sorry" and be teleported somewhere else. (Needs confirmation: It seems that if you press escape when prompted with a location, you simply stay put.)
