The spellbook of stone to flesh is one of the Healer's guaranteed starting spells, and an all-round useful spell to know.
Possible uses
- Turning boulders into a food (beware, the huge chunk of meat will almost certainly satiate you, so it will be easy to choke).
- Turning rocks into pet treats (not efficient as a food for you)
- Getting rid of boulders blocking your way. If in sokoban, it would affect your luck
- Identifying gems - this method isn't very good, because you only get an info if the gem is glass or not and you lose some of the good ones, but can be used if you have no other means (a touchstone or a spell of identify). Call all the gems in "good", then place one from each stack in a pile, zap the spell, pick up the gems not turned into meatballs and rename them to "glass"
- Stopping the stiffening process. This method affects your stone inventory, so eating a lizard corpse or quaffing the potion of acid is better.
