Some polymorph causers "fade"/you return to your original form.  Is there away to prevent said return?  Will this amulet do the job I just described?[[User:Slarty|Slarty]] 22:59, August 26, 2010 (UTC)

:As described in the article, yes. Also, ALL self-polymorph results in returning to your original form if you aren't wearing an amulet of unchanging. -- [[User:Qazmlpok|Qazmlpok]] 23:06, August 26, 2010 (UTC)

I'm sorry, but what the hell is the last edit supposed to mean? Why would you want to be polymorphed into a vampire lord in late game?

In the late game, this is great for keeping you polymorphed into a Vampire lord, though bear in mind that you cannot wear an Amulet of life saving at the same time to protect you if you accidentally hit a cockatrice.
KTHXBAI, gneek

After spending about a day trying to figure out why in the world you would ever want to become a vampire lord in the late game, I could think of no good reasons so I gave up and undid the previous change. Gneek 17:47, 10 July 2008 (UTC)
