I'm pretty sure there is no timeout for anger - if your god is angry, he/she/it will stay angry until you do something to reduce anger. djao 06:20, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

If you're an atheist, then you probably don't care about anger, since anger mainly affects things like prayer and turn undead, which atheists can't do anyway. The protection racket makes no difference -- you can buy protection regardless of anger status, and if for some reason you need to reduce anger, you can still sacrifice monsters at an altar to reduce anger without directly affecting your ability to buy protection (just use a pet to kill monsters and so on). djao 19:48, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
