: Long term observation (but no code checking): Non-eating pets start with the same apport as other pets when tamed (or keep their previous apport when polymorphed), and they will fetch objects, using up points of apport. The only difference to eating pets is that you cannot raise their apport in any way. --[[User:Tjr|Tjr]] 01:58, 22 November 2010 (UTC)

Has anyone checked the code and would care to explain what happens to apport when you have a pet that does not eat? (Had a polymorph wand at start and turned my cat into a barbed devil...)

Long term observation (but no code checking): Non-eating pets start with the same apport as other pets when tamed (or keep their previous apport when polymorphed), and they will fetch objects, using up points of apport. The only difference to eating pets is that you cannot raise their apport in any way. --Tjr 01:58, 22 November 2010 (UTC)
