i don't think the role-specific article should be cluttered up with general advice:
- dipping for excalibur doesn't need to be here, it's already mentioned under Lawful, and cavepeople don't start with longswords. overthinking excalibur isn't needed unless you start with or find a longsword. one might as well mention *all* of the decent artifact weapons, if one is going to mention excalibur on here.
- the protection racket is primarily of interest to gnomes, dwarves, and characters that start with a lot of cash.
- the racket is also a trap for noobs; they don't yet know the threat levels of assorted dangers in the dungeon, so they don't know when to retreat or use Elbereth.
