Move page to "Delayed death"?

For how is it "sure" if it can be averted? --Ichgucknurmal 12:08, 1 January 2007 (UTC)

It's most commonly known as a "delayed instadeath", which is also technically inaccurate; I've never heard "delayed sure death" before, I assume it was invented solely for this article? I'd support moving to "delayed instadeath", and just place a note acknowledging the contradictory nature of the name with an explanation of the history thereof, unless someone has a better idea. --GreyKnight 20:09, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
When the instadeath spoiler was first posted to rgrn, Pat Rankin said: ::"Delayed insta-death" is an oxymoron, a phrase which contradicts itself. Please come up with some other term that isn't so absurd. "Delayed sure death" was the suggested alternative which I liked best. Google Groups for "delayed sure death" in rgrn for more suggestions.

The other suggestions don't seem much better. I don't see the benefit of using a recently-invented inaccurate term over a well-established inaccurate term. "Delayed instadeath" is used by many other roguelike communities as well. Mr. Rankin's suggestion was made a little over six years ago now, and nobody, as far as I can tell, is using any of the suggested terms (even in RGRN, "delayed sure death" only crops up in that one post); that, to me, says that we should have the page under the name as it is used "in the wild". --GreyKnight 21:41, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
OK, I have edited the page to use the term "delayed instadeath" throughout, and am just about to adjust the links and attempt to move the page. Ekaterin 10:50, 4 January 2007 (UTC)

Digestion attacks?

I noticed in wizard mode that a purple worm can digest you without regard to HP loss. After a certain number of turns, you will be "completely digested" and die. Since eel drowning attacks are included I think the digestion attacks should be included for completeness' sake.
