Two Questions:
1. Do you get benefits of exercise when wearing Gloves of Strength or Dexterity?
2. What happens if one loses strength due to poisoning, then exercises it until it gains a point, then applies a unicorn horn? To what level will it rise (if any)?

Source inconsistency
Two external sources are cited here mentioning exercise. One of them (http://www.helsinki.fi/~vviitane/spoilers/exercise) says the formula for stat point increases is 1-(stat)/20. The other (http://www.geocities.com/dcorbett42/nethack/exercise.htm says the formula is (18-(stat))/19. What gives? What is the actual formula?
Rewrite
I rewrote the explanation of the calculcations in exercise checks. It was unclear, and incorrect as far as I could tell. The current version is based on the source of exerchk and this page, which agree with each other and disagree with the previous contents of the page. Xoxb (talk) 21:30, 22 October 2013 (UTC)
