what am i missing

  • using nh mobile on an excalibur. individual naming does not seem to work. pile of rocks. throw rocks into two piles. (n for number doesn't work either.) pick up first pile #name-y it to pile1. drop pile. pick up the other pile and #name-y it to pile2. pick up the first pile, you've not got two piles named pile1 and pile2, just one pile named pile2. is this the expected behaviour? is it a compile directive? just seems broken to me. --109.154.2.237 18:09, August 25, 2010 (UTC)

No, it's not a bug. This is a feature so that new objects of the same type that you pick up will merge into the same stack. To separate stacks on purpose, you need to name the original stack, drop one of the new stacks, rename the part that you still have in your inventory, and then pick what was left up. 50.104.87.134 20:35, 22 October 2011 (UTC)
