: The odds are very small, but I'd like to see exact values, too. I think it is dependent on the special attack hitting, not on how much damage it does. However, since grid bugs have rather low-damage attacks, exploding items is clearly correllated to total damage. Yes, exploding rings can seriously screw you, e. g. conflict if in a horde, telecontrol if afflicted with teleporitis, polymorph control if a were-creature, gain strength if you then become  burdened etc. -[[User:Tjr|Tjr]] 15:51, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

The odds are very small, but I'd like to see exact values, too. I think it is dependent on the special attack hitting, not on how much damage it does. However, since grid bugs have rather low-damage attacks, exploding items is clearly correllated to total damage. Yes, exploding rings can seriously screw you, e. g. conflict if in a horde, telecontrol if afflicted with teleporitis, polymorph control if a were-creature, gain strength if you then become burdened etc. -Tjr 15:51, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
