Is there something special about wizard called Newt, who you can find there? I looted an athame and 6 wands out of him...

Newt (A prisoner) can have an Athame, so it's always worth killling him.

OTOH, 6 wands? You lucky bastard! Are you sure about that?

Getting Neferet off the throne

Is there a way to (peacefully) get Neferet off the throne before showing her the Amulet or perhaps even before getting quest permission? -Tjr 06:53, July 1, 2010 (UTC)

You can #chat with her after getting quest permission. Tjr 17:34, August 28, 2010 (UTC)

Even before permission, you can either use a free turn or have a monster throw paralysis at her to walk adjacent without getting kicked out immediatley. Then, you can either #chat to her or answer no at "do you really want to attack" to wake her up. The latter doesn't even use in-game time. --Tjr 16:06, 8 June 2011 (UTC)
