blueshade's friendly advice:

• apparently, the best way to identify a wand is to zap it towards a nearby wall... come on, what's the probability of it being a wand of death...
• always eat everything you can, the next level may not have as much food as you hope for - because you know - noone dies of too much food...
• when you have a chance to offer a corpse do so without thinking... what bad can happen after offering your own race? your god knows it's for their good...
• wand of digging is a marvellous tool, enabling you to escape most of dire situations you can encounter by zapping it downwards - try it! especially in the mines, which are of course most susceptible to digging (it is a mine after all) - best of all, try it on Mines' End for a special bonus when trying to escape this monster which is about to kill you the next turn...
• oh, and don't bother clearing up the clipboard after doing some work outside of nethack... i mean, it's not like your terminal will paste the text just by clicking a mouse or anything, is it?...
