checking bcu status is the best indicator of a bad amulet,
otherwise it doesn't matter because you get no chance to take it off

" By changing gender, a male character can become female to use incubi and vice-versa." Is this really true? The spoilers say the foocubi change sex along with you.
- I think it means that if you're polymorphed into an incubus and want to #monster a male character, you should use an amulet of change first
