Playing 3.7.0 on hard-fought via hterm. Best game to date a neutral human male wizard. No altars on main dungeon 1-10. No lamp so avoiding GM. Went down to 11 to continue looking for an altar. Killed by invisible master lich. According to Wiki, one should not be generated outside Gehennom, especially as high up as level 11.
The RNG must hate me!

So I assumed initially. However, it stayed a master lich longer than any other chameleon I ever encountered.

- Randomness means some forms stick longer than others entirely by chance. Could also have been made by a polymorph trap. --Umbire the Phantom (talk) 23:15, 5 November 2025 (UTC)
