Butcher is an artifact that appears in EvilHack and Hack'EM. It is chaotic-aligned and the signature weapon of Yeenoghu, and its base item is a triple-headed flail.
Generation
Butcher cannot be wished for, and will revert to its base item if left in bones.
Yeenoghu is always generated with the cursed fireproof Butcher, which will have an enchantment ranging from +3 to +5.
Description
Butcher has +1d5 to-hit and +1d8 damage bonuses, and stuns monsters on hit unless they have stun resistance.
Encyclopedia entry
Legend states that the demon lord Yeenoghu himself crafted this
triple-headed flail from the thighbone and flayed skin of an
ancient god he slew.
