Forum:YANI: More Shout-Outs
For items or monsters that are already explicitly shout-outs there should be more messages regarding the reference. This already happens a lot for Pratchett and there should be more. Examples:
- Killing a wumpus: "Hurrah, you kill the wumpus!" (no message if you #named the wumpus)
- When a balrog is on the level: "You hear a voice shouting 'You Shalt Not Pass!'" akin to werecreatures (no message if you are deaf, or if you can see the balrog)
- Beheading a jabberwock with the Vorpal Blade: "The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!" (no message if you are deaf, "The vorpal blade went snicker-snee!" if you are hallucinating)
- #Chatting to a captain: replace the "Resistance is useless!" case with "Oh freddled gruntbuggly, thy micturations are to me..."
