Article Count
The wikihack content pages number would appear to be 1814, way down on the number quoted in this article. Is that right?
- This article has misleading statistics. The RogueBasin article count is hard-coded into the page: 1128 articles as of 27 January 2011. The nethackwiki article count is from the {{NUMBEROFARTICLES}} magic word, which is current. Today is 12 June 2024, and the nethackwiki article count is 4226.
Gonna fix a lot of stuff on this page if I can wrap my head around it.
Done with this page. New article counts (head to head): RogueBasin 2096, NetHackWiki 4228.

These links resolve through the interwiki table https://nethackwiki.com/wiki/Special:Interwiki . The log for that table shows commits from Paxed and Tjr, with the first commit on 9 November 2010, and the last commit on 30 January 2011. The log message for RogueBasin is:

In 2021, roguebasin moved from roguebasin.roguelikedevelopment.org to roguebasin.com . roguelikedevelopment.org returns NXDOMAIN today.
There are several ways to resolve this.
Solution 1: Ask paxed to change the interwiki table. The right value is https://roguebasin.com/index.php?title=$1 . Then I visit all the pages that use the roguebasin interwiki link and check that they work.
Solution 2: I change all the callers so that they don't use an interwiki link. Then (optionally) ask paxed to delete the roguebasin line from the interwiki table.
Solution 3: anything else?
I favor Solution 1. Help and advice please?
