Been playing NetHack and SLASH'EM since 2007. Never ascended. Developer of the Slash'EM Extended fork SLASHTHEM.
Started as a simple modification to allow Gastly characters to eat human corpses without cannibalism penalty and to be immune to rotten corpse effects. It grew over time, so I placed it onto GitHub in January of 2015.
