Forum:How to find a saddle ?

Hi all,

I manage to tame a dragon and I would like to ride it. But I never manage to find a saddle (I am playing a wizard). I collect all the tool I find to polypile them, but even so, I did not get a saddle. Is there a raison to that ? Shall I spend a wish to get my saddle ?

Saddles are pretty rare. You can go many games without ever seeing one. They sometimes show up in general or hardware stores, but not often. I think Polypiling can sometimes get one, but as you found, it's not very likely. Your best bet is a wish. --Khearn 01:24, 17 November 2010 (UTC)

Or a bones file from a knight character.

To be specific, any given non-magical tool has a roughly 1/200 chance of polymorphing into a saddle. So you would need at least a hundred or so tools to have a good chance of getting one from polypiling - bones or a wish are probably the only viable ways. -Ion frigate 04:33, 23 November 2010 (UTC)

It pays to make autopickup exception collect all lightweight tools if you want to polypile for a saddle. There are 360 mirrors in the game from nymphs alone. --22:13, 23 November 2010 (UTC)
