Are there any 8x8 tilesets in 16 or 256 colors for Nethack, preferably as close to the standard tileset as possible? Google has turned up nothing and I'd like to try one for NethackDS without turning empty spaces into zombie heads. 174.106.246.231 01:58, 1 August 2011 (UTC)

There's a smartphone tileset which is 6x6 pixels, a NeXTSTEP tileset which is 10x10 pixels, and the Vultures map tiles are 7x14 pixels. The other tilesets are either vanilla size or larger. Thank you- actually I've found these searching on my own and while I rather like how some of the look, the Nintendo DS port of Nethack (http://blog.b-ark.ca/NetHackDS) only allows BMP tilesets with dimensions that are multiples of 8 in 16 or 256 colors. The default tileset works fairly well, but I'd like to at least try to play with a smaller one. 174.106.246.231 18:13, 1 August 2011 (UTC)
