You're Indy, you have a fedora and a bullwhip and you're out for fame and glory. But this this time it's the dungeons of doom, perhaps the biggest challenge you have ever had, but fame and glory will be yours if you can retrieve the Amulet of Yendor for your god.

Archaeologists can be human, a gnome, or a dwarf.

Best weapons are a pick-axes, sabres, boomerangs, and whips. And you can bareknuckle pretty good too. Dwarvish mattocks are two handed pick-axes that rock pretty hard (According to Violist)

A good artifact weapon for you is Grayswandir, a silver sabre that really kicks ass in Gehennom. Keep an eye out for captains because they sometimes carry silver sabres as well.

Your quest artifact is The Orb of Detection, it confers magic resistance and telepathy gives you half damage when attacked by spells, and can be invoked to toggle invisibility on and off.
