Drain resistance(also known as level drain resistance) is the intrinsic ability to resist a monster reducing your experiance level.

The attack of a Wraith "The Wraith touches you."

The attack of a Vampire or Vapire Lord. "The Vampire(Lord) touches you."

Having a monster cast the Drain Life Spell at you.

Getting hit by The Staff of Aesculapius' attack.

Wielding Excalibur.

Wielding The Staff of Aesculapius.
