Forum:Help With Water level??

Hello, I got to this swamp or water level and I can't figure out what I am supposed to do. There is a structure in the middle with no doors. There is no stairway down to the next level. I could sure use a clue if someone has one. I am using NetHack version 3.4.3 on UNIX. I am going to try to embed a file with a snap of the level (my first post so don't know how the embed thing will go).

That is Medusa's Island; see that article for more information. (There are secret doors. The article has a map including them. Be careful with eels.)

Out of curiosity: you're using it on UNIX, you say; why did you upload a screen capture of the level in a Windows text editor, then? —bcode ^{talk | mail} 17:58, 29 November 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for fixing the file thing, I'll work on the sig also. I am probably one of the few Solaris nethack players around. I'm on a PC and SSH'd into a really big Oracle server. I snaped the pic with Snagit on the PC. It was a .txt file first because I tried to upload that, then found that the Wiki wanted an image. FWIW, you can include text directly into the page, using 1-space indents to make it "preformatted":
