Can anyone please tell me if while wearing a amulet of "versus poison" i can get the intrinsic poison resistance....im playing a knight in the orcish mines and lost 5 strength points to poison but i dont want wear the amulet if it will keep me from getting the intrinsic....

another question...my knight seems to burn through food...im not wearing any rings or amulets and im "burdened" but the wizards i normally play always are "burdened" as well and it seems they go much longer between meals.....ive looked up hunger and cant find any reason....just curious(and hungry)
