Can anyone please tell me if while wearing a amulet of "versus poison"
i can get the intrinsic poison resistance....im playing a knight in the orcish mines and lost 5 strength points to poison but i dont want wear the amulet if it will keep me from getting the intrinsic....
- Go ahead and wear the amulet. Having extrinsic resistance from items does not prevent you from gaining the intrinsic permanently. The only difference is that when you gain the intrinsic, the message you get will be slightly different ("You feel especially healthy" instead of just "You feel healthy"). --Auraseer 08:07, 28 February 2009 (UTC)
another question...my knight seems to burn through food...im not wearing any rings or amulets and im "burdened" but the wizards i normally play always are "burdened" as well and it seems they go much longer between meals.....ive looked up hunger and cant find any reason....just curious(and hungry) Matrim1 03:46, 28 February 2009 (UTC)
- Are you jumping a lot? Each jump burns some nutrition. If it's not that, then perhaps you're casting spells. Spellcasting burns through nutrition even faster, except when you're playing a wizard. --Auraseer 08:07, 28 February 2009 (UTC)
thanks for the info auraseer....that should really help my ascention rate!!...maybe i have used spells more as a knight trying to up the skills, i'll have to pay closer attention but again thanks for your help... Matrim1 22:12, 28 February 2009 (UTC)
