:Likely it's special-cased in some way. The point is moot because you can't pacify other classes' quest nemeses either, see Dog.c#line753 or SLASH'EM_0.0.7E7F2/dog.c#line850 for vanilla or SLASH'EM, respectively. --Tjr 23:16, 2 December 2010 (UTC)

I am playing Slashem as a archiologist and I wished for a statute of master kaen with the intent of taming him. After a lot of polypiling I got a spellbook of stone to flesh and a scroll of taming to my surprise Master Kaen turned out to be a doppleganger is there anyway for me to get him in the game I assumed my quest enemy/leader was unavailble but I thought I could get another class's enemy what will happen if I wish for a corpse of master kaen and zap a wand of undead turning will it be another doppleganger?Ndwolfwood 23:09, 2 December 2010 (UTC)

Likely it's special-cased in some way.
