Since copper(Cu) has lower reactivity than hydrogen(H), copper should not corrode by acid.

It's probably because the copper item that's most likely to be corroded is the bronze plate mail which, as the name implies, is made of bronze. Just my thoughts, really. --Kahran042 (talk) 01:25, 13 August 2016 (UTC)
